1966 Ford GT40 MKII Race Car

The LEGO® 1966 Ford GT40 MKII Race Car (set 42223) is a 793-piece LEGO Technic set released in 2026, a buildable model of the endurance racer that ended Ferrari's Le Mans dominance. The model captures the GT40's low-slung silhouette in a black-and-silver livery inspired by the championship car. Working features include steering operated through a knob on the roof, opening doors, an opening engine cover revealing the V8 engine, and a lever inside the engine bay that opens the front hood. After building, the car sits as a display piece celebrating one of motorsport's most iconic underdog stories. A welcome historical entry in the Technic line that usually focuses on contemporary supercars.
