Flying Moon Car

The LEGO® Flying Moon Car (set 40789) is a 211-piece LEGO Ideas set released in 2025, depicting a retro-futuristic moon vehicle hovering above the lunar surface on a removable display pedestal. Flame elements project from the tailpipes, suggesting forward motion across the regolith, and two space-traveler minifigures in spacesuits sit inside the car. A helpful sign points the way to the lunar destination, and the vehicle detaches from its pedestal for alternate display angles. A nostalgic atomic-age vision of space travel that channels the optimism of mid-century moon-car concept art.
