Lion Dance Guy

The LEGO® Lion Dance Guy (set 40540) is a 239-piece LEGO Brickheadz set released in 2022, celebrating Chinese New Year with a brick-built take on the traditional Chinese lion dance. The colorful, brilliantly decorated lion costume features a movable mouth that lets builders change the lion's expression between fierce and playful poses. The figure is accompanied by two drums for setting the rhythm of the parade and a red lantern for festive atmosphere, all mounted on a sturdy baseplate for proud display during Lunar New Year festivities. A culturally-grounded Brickheadz release that goes beyond character likenesses to capture a living tradition — one of the line's most expressive and theme-rich figures.
