Typewriter

The LEGO® Typewriter (set 21327) is a 2,080-piece Ideas set released in 2021, inspired by the classic typewriter used by LEGO Group founder Ole Kirk Kristiansen. The build moves and sounds like the real thing — the brick-built center typebar rises with each key press and links to a carriage that travels across as you type, with a platen roller that accepts real paper. Ships with a letter from Thomas Kirk Kristiansen, fourth-generation member of the founding family, that slots into the machine to complete the display. A nostalgic centerpiece tying directly back to the LEGO Group's own history.
